Nike's newest — and largest — building honors a sports icon

The building at Nike’s corporate headquarters in Beaverton is named after tennis star Serena Williams. It covers “the equivalent of 140 full-size tennis courts.”

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Nike has unveiled its largest office building at its corporate headquarters in Washington County: the 1-million-square-foot Serena Williams Building.

The building named for the tennis star is LEED Platinum-certified and covers “the equivalent of 140 full-size tennis courts,” according to the sportswear company (NYSE: NKE).
