Nike store reopens to customers in downtown Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — For the first time since spring 2024, shoppers were able to step back inside Nike’s store at Southwest Fifth Avenue and Morrison Street on Thursday, following an extensive 18-month renovation.

The downtown location’s grand reopening drew a crowd of eager customers, who lined up outside before the doors opened. Visitors were greeted by local mascots and employees celebrating the return of a store focused primarily on Nike’s running products.

For some downtown residents and workers, the reopening had been a long time coming.
