PORTLAND, Ore. — A new drop-in day center for homeless people in the heart of Portland’s St. Johns neighborhood will soon open its doors, Multnomah County officials previewed in a ribbon-cutting Wednesday.
“Every opening that we do adds critical response to our homelessness response system,” said Chair Jessica Vega Pederson said. “This center meets a great need for north Portland for many who are unsheltered.”
