Netflix raises prices on all plans for second time in just over a year

Netflix last raised prices in January 2025.

NEW YORK — Netflix hiked subscription prices across all of its U.S. streaming plans Thursday, the second price increase in just over a year.

The streamer’s ad-supported plan is now $8.99 a month, up from $7.99. The standard plan without ads is now $19.99 a month, up from $17.99. The premium plan is now $26.99, up from $24.99. 

The company also raised the cost of its “extra member” fee by $1, to $6.99 for ad-supported plans and $9.99 for ad-free plans.

New members who sign up will see the new plan prices starting Thursday, March
