London double-decker bus bar parked on Burnside sees business increase downtown after slow post-COVID start

The owner of Rachel & Rose says sales have been up month over month recently but says the city should incentivize businesses to move into nearby abandoned buildings.

PORTLAND, Ore. — If you’ve driven down West Burnside Street in downtown Portland, chances are you’ve noticed the double-decker bus that looks straight out of London.

That’s because it is.

Ray Maestas, owner of Rachel & Rose, had the bus shipped across the world before it eventually landed in Southern California.
