The owners of Lloyd Center in Northeast Portland have confirmed that the building will close by the end of the year.
PORTLAND, Ore. — The end is near for a Portland icon. The Lloyd Center mall’s owners confirmed it will close its doors for good by the end of this year.
At a Portland Design Commission hearing Thursday, commissioners heard the master plan for the land’s redevelopment.
The mall’s owners, Urban Renaissance Group and KKR Real Estate Finance Trust, plan to demolish the mall and redevelop it into 14 separate parcels.
