List: Over 200 Rite Aid stores set to close nationwide, 17 in Oregon

Rite Aid plans to close over 200 U.S. stores, including 17 in Oregon, amid its second bankruptcy.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Nearly 100 more Rite Aid stores are set to close nationwide, including a total of 17 stores in Oregon, as the pharmacy chain enters its second bankruptcy. 

The popular drugstore chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last week as it faces continued financial struggles. The chain had previously filed for bankruptcy in 2023 and downsized the company from over 2,300 stores to about 1,200. 

Court documents following the bankruptcy announcement last week revealed Rite Aid initially planned to close 47 stores. Updated documents
