Lan Su Chinese Gardens lands grant to launch summertime Old Town market

The director of one of downtown Portland’s oldest and most popular cultural attractions hopes a new summer market will help bring more visitors to Old Town.

“This market marks a major first step in reimagining how our newly activated space next to the current garden can serve our community,” Lan Su Chinese Garden Executive Director Elizabeth McCabe Nye said in a statement.
