John’s Marketplace to close Beaverton location at end of year

PORTLAND, Ore. — John’s Marketplace announced Wednesday that it will close its Beaverton location at the end of the year, citing economic pressures and changes in craft beer distribution.

The store, which opened in 2022, will close Dec. 31. In a statement, the company cited visibility challenges, rapid changes in the craft beer distribution landscape and broader economic pressures facing independent retailers across the region.
