‘It’s been crazy’: Owner struggles to pay staff after arson shuts down Forest Grove restaurant

FOREST GROVE, Ore. — At Taqueria Corona in downtown Forest Grove, owner Maritza Uribe Osorio is anxious to reopen her restaurant. It’s been closed since Oct. 30 after police said someone set fire to a dumpster behind the building. 

The fire, which was ruled arson, damaged several utilities including the gas line. Forest Grove Police arrested Teri Park, 48, for arson on Oct. 31.

“When I showed up I saw the scene, the horrible scene,” Uribe Osorio said.

She had just returned from the grocery store with food
