Intel Corp. revised the number of Oregon workers being laid off from 530 to 2,392, still set for July 15 at four Intel campuses.
HILLSBORO, Ore. — Intel Corp. has dramatically upped the number of Oregon employees being laid off from 530 to 2,329.
The corporation had initially filed a layoff notice on Tuesday, saying that the layoffs were set to begin July 15 and would affect Intel’s Aloha campus, along with the Ronler Acres, Hawthorne Farms and Intel Jones campuses in Hillsboro.
But according to a WARN notice, the number was revised up to 2,329 workers, who are not represented by a union.
