PORTLAND, Oregon — Many women shy away from taking rideshare trips because they don’t want to get into a car with a man they don’t know.
Now, Uber is launching a new feature that will give women the option to choose women drivers.
“It doesn’t bother me at all; everyone is free to choose whoever they want,” said Anthony, a rideshare driver who didn’t want to share his last name.
