The grand reopening of Jim’s Ice Cream drew a large crowd of people who were happy to wait in line, after waiting for a year.
HILLSBORO, Ore. — A year after a car crashed into a Hillsboro ice cream shop, the business reopened to a line of customers wrapped around the building Friday.
“I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the entire Hillsboro community behind me,” said Adrian Wakefield, owner of Jim’s Ice Cream.
On Thanksgiving Day 2024, a car crashed through the ice cream shop, destroying the entire front end.
