Four Winds Brewing wins five times at national competition

Delta’s Four Winds Brewing has the wind in its sails, after winning five Canadian Brewing Awards.

The national competition invites the best brews from across the country in almost every conceivable category, resulting in a total of 50 categories.

In the Brett wild and mixed culture beer category, defined by the type of yeast used, Four Winds finished with a gold and bronze medal.

Its beer, Operis, a Brett saison with seven percent alcohol, claimed the top spot, while Cherryoperis, with hints of cherry pie, grabbed bronze.

Four Winds also claimed gold in the German wheat and rye beer category with its Dunkelweizen, made at Four Winds Beach House
