FOREST GROVE, Ore. — If a community’s health can be measured by its wealth of opportunities for its youth, Forest Grove, Oregon hit paydirt half a century ago. The Forest Grove High School Viking House Project and turned 50 years old this week. The program has given high school students the opportunity to build an entire new home each year for five decades.
