The owner of Pepe Chile food carts says upwards of $600 in cash was stolen Tuesday evening.
PORTLAND, Ore. — Antonio Diaz was back at work Wednesday morning at the Pepe Chile food cart pod on North Williams, just hours after he was robbed by two men, one of whom was armed with a gun.
“I don’t know if it was real or if it was a toy but in the moment you get scared,” Diaz said.
Surveillance video of the Tuesday evening holdup shows Diaz stayed calm despite the alarming nature of the incident.
