Unionized classified workers with Evergreen Public Schools remain on strike after rejecting a contract offer from the district last week.
VANCOUVER, Wash. — A strike involving unionized classified workers at Evergreen Public Schools entered its second week Monday, further delaying the start of the school year.
The district said calendars will be adjusted once the strike ends, but for now, students remain out of class.
The Tuesday, Sept. 2 start date was already a delayed back-to-school date, which was originally decided upon due to the strike.
