Eligible customers can receive up to $10 from the settlement if they file a claim by June 30.
WASHINGTON — Nationwide hair removal salon chain European Wax Center has agreed to a $5 million settlement to resolve a class-action lawsuit over the disclosure of personal information of those who visited its website.
The settlement relates to the use of “pixels, cookies, code, and/or tracking or analytics tools” on the European Wax Center website that were used to disclose information to third parties without visitors’ permission, according to the settlement website.
