WASHINGTON — Dunkin’ Donuts is giving out 1 million free coffees, a promotion the fast food chain insists is not an April Fools’ Day prank.
Well, technically, it’s 1,000,001 free coffees. An increase, the company claimed, is up from last year’s 1 million.
“That extra one is for anyone still not convinced,” Dunkin’ wrote on its website.
The only catch is that the deal only applies to Dunkin’ Rewards members and can only be accessed through the company’s smartphone app. Once inside the app, rewards members enter the promo code of “StillNotAJoke.”
