Supporters say the Keller Auditorium should remain Portland’s premier entertainment venue, citing concerns after a study found PSU’s planned development preferable.
PORTLAND, Ore. — Calls to “Save the Keller” echoed from a crowd downtown Wednesday morning.
This comes after a city-commissioned study found that Portland should back a new auditorium on Portland State University’s campus rather than rely on renovating the Keller Auditorium.
Supporters believe it’s in downtown’s best interest to invest in the Keller, including a nearby restaurant owner who said show nights are a big boost in business.
