Details of historic investment into Portland’s Albina neighborhood revealed, brought to life by new renderings

A $70 million investment is just the first step in rebuilding Portland’s historically Black Albina neighborhood.

PORTLAND, Ore. —  A $70 million investment aimed at rebuilding Portland’s historic Albina neighborhood is moving forward, with new details and renderings released Tuesday on the sweeping redevelopment plan.

The two locations in the spotlight currently are Albina Riverside, where the old grain silos still stand along the banks of the Willamette; and the Low End, which can be found along the western edge of Russell Street.
