Roseburg Forest Products is shutting down its hardwood plywood plant in Douglas County immediately, the company said Thursday, putting 107 people out of work.
The privately held Springfield-based company, which has about 2,800 employees, said it was bowing out of a hardwood plywood market now dominated by low-cost imports.
