Restrooms Smashed at Multiple Oregon Coast Parks as Rangers Scramble to Make Repairs

Anyone who has spent a day wandering the central Oregon Coast knows how important those little state park stops can be. They are the places where families pull over between beaches, road trippers stretch their legs, surfers change out of wet gear, and travelers make a desperately needed restroom stop before continuing up Highway 101.

Now, restroom facilities at six popular Oregon Coast state parks have been damaged by vandalism, leaving some of them partially or completely closed while park employees work to repair the destruction.
