SALEM, OR — In a bold escalation of political discourse, Governor Tina Kotek announced Tuesday she will be challenging former President Donald Trump to a full-on schoolyard fight at first recess, confirming the showdown will take place “by the swings, where it’s fair.”
The announcement reportedly came just minutes after Kotek published her third Facebook post of the morning regarding Trump, a routine aides describe as “part of the daily content cadence.”
“Look, sometimes words aren’t enough,” Kotek said, cracking her knuckles in what witnesses described as “surprisingly convincing form.” “At a certain point, you take it to the playground.”
