WASHINGTON — More than 130 Target stores are undergoing changes this year as the retailer promises its biggest transformation in the past decade.
Target announced this week that it would remodel more than 130 stores as well as open 30 new stores as it invests $5 billion in the changes. The remodels will take place in priority markets like Atlanta; Austin, Dallas and Houston, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago; Phoenix; Los Angeles; Miami; New York City; Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
