Here’s why 150,000 Oregonians will have in-network access to Legacy Health services again

Any Legacy services provided to Regence and BlueCross BlueShield members since April 1 and going forward will be processed as in-network. 

PORTLAND, Ore. — Legacy Health and Regence reached a new deal Wednesday after failing to come to a new contract in early April, leaving tens of thousands of patients in the Portland-Vancouver area in insurance coverage limbo. 

The new contract became effective retroactively, the hospital said.  Any Legacy services provided to Regence and BlueCross BlueShield members since April 1 and going forward will be processed as in-network.
