Washington County’s assessed property tax value growth sits at 11% for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, more than double the typical 4-5% growth year over year.
HILLSBORO, Oregon — This year, Washington County’s assessed value growth is billions higher than years prior after updated assessment numbers out of tech-giant Intel.
The growth is more than double a standard year, after a tax abatement program Intel was under expired.
“Washington County to my knowledge has not seen an 11% growth in assessed value,” said Eric Olson, director of assessment and taxation for Washington County.
