After sitting vacant for six years, Portland’s former Chuck E. Cheese near Southeast 92nd Avenue and Powell will soon house five pickleball courts.
PORTLAND, Oregon — A group of local entrepreneurs has signed a long-term lease to transform a vacant building steeped in nostalgia into Rose City Pickleball.
The indoor recreation space will take over the former Chuck E. Cheese building near Southeast 92nd Avenue and Powell Boulevard, which closed in October 2020. It will feature five pickleball courts, a pro shop and a cafe serving beer and wine.
