The legislation is intended to streamline regulations and speed up housing construction.
WOODBURN, Oregon — Oregon Governor Tina Kotek signed a package of housing bills Wednesday designed to make homes more affordable by increasing supply and reducing development barriers across the state.
Speaking at a bill signing event in Woodburn, Kotek said expanding housing production is central to addressing affordability challenges.
“These bills represent another significant dose of progress on one of the most pressing issues we face as a state,” Kotek said.
