Alpenrose Dairy has sold its butter production operations to a national buyer ahead of a planned shutdown.
Massachusetts-based Plant Based Innovations plans to continue operations at Alpenrose’s Clackamas butter production facility and retain 35 jobs there. Alpenrose said in January it would close the plant and consolidate its dairy production.
