Frosted Sugar Bakeshop in Boring, OR has been operating on the honor system for more than a year, and the owner says she’s been glad to see honesty in the community.
BORING, Ore. — A bake stand out in Boring, Oregon, has been consistently sold out over the past year, despite there being no one there to do the selling.
Every Friday, Shelly Bower is up bright and early to fill the shelves at Frosted Sugar Bakeshop, which functions completely on the honor system.
“I’ve wanted a bakery since I was a kid,” she said.
