First cruise ship of the season docks in Astoria, bringing boost to local economy: ‘A lot of us count on this’

ASTORIA, Ore. — The first cruise ship of the season has arrived at Pier 1 at the Port of Astoria, marking the start of what officials say will be a record-breaking year for passengers and an influx of dollars for the local economy.
