The city of Vancouver hopes to open the grant application process to businesses within the next two weeks.
VANCOUVER, Wash. — Along Fourth Plain Boulevard between Interstate 5 and 65th Avenue is a stretch of Vancouver the city has dubbed the International District. It is colorful and vibrant, dotted with diverse storefronts. But beyond the festive murals and inside many businesses, some owners say they are struggling to stay afloat.
“We all work hard to be where we’re at, and because business has gone down a lot, it’s hard for us to stay afloat,” said Gabriela Mendoza.
