PORTLAND, Oregon — There is renewed life in a former Airbnb office building in Portland’s Old Town neighborhood.
A local nonprofit is converting the space at First Avenue and Couch Street into a new business incubator designed to support family-friendly, community entrepreneurs.
When Airbnb vacated the building in 2020, it left behind furniture, computer monitors, iPads, hammocks hanging from the ceiling, and uniquely designed meeting rooms modeled after listings around the world.
Now, those features are getting a second life.
