The Portland-based grocery chain pointed fingers at last year’s labor contract and wage increases across all stores.
PORTLAND, Ore. — This week, New Seasons Market confirmed it has laid off dozens of employees, pointing fingers at last year’s bargaining agreement that raised wages for union members.
The grocery chain on Tuesday said the layoffs affected 95 employees, less than 5% of the current store staff.
