PORTLAND, Ore. — The economic outlook for people living in the Portland area continued to sour in 2025, according to the Portland Metro Chamber’s annual survey of registered voters in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties.
Homelessness remains a top — but improving — issue for respondents, but affordability concerns have skyrocketed. The survey results, released Thursday, also show a trending concern about the direction of the metro area, according to a presentation from the chamber and DHM Research, which conducted the poll.
