Portland’s sneaker-themed coffee place to close Old Town location

When Deadstock opened the area around the shop was a hub for sneaker culture — but then the pandemic hit and conditions in the neighborhood worsened.

After 10 years in Old Town, Portland’s sneaker-themed coffee shop Deadstock Coffee is closing that location.

Fans will still be able to purchase Deadstock’s coffee online, and its shop in Beaverton, at 12305 S.W. Broadway St., is still open.

“We have been here for a long time,” said Williams, who opened the 500-square-foot shop in 2015.
