WASHINGTON — The Attorneys General from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands sued Google over alleged monopolization of content on the Google Play Store. Google is now proposing a $700 million settlement.
The lawsuit alleges customers using the Google Play Store between August 16, 2016, and September 30, 2023, paid more for their apps, and Google violated federal and state antitrust and consumer protection laws, according to the settlement website.
