PORTLAND, Ore. — A new women’s soccer team inspired by Portland’s riot grrrl legacy will launch in May 2026, joining the USL W League.
Portland Cherry Bombs FC was announced Tuesday by COLLiDE Sport, marking the organization’s fourth team. COLLiDE is a creative incubator and marketing agency that owns and operates a family of companies across sports and entertainment. The club joins the Portland Pickles baseball team, Portland Bangers FC and Lake County Captains in COLLiDE’s portfolio.
