Harbor Industrial is expected to take over container operations at the terminal by Dec. 31.
PORTLAND, Ore. — The Port of Portland announced the approval of a new deal on Wednesday that will keep container shipping operations going at Terminal 6, Oregon’s only active international container terminal.
The Port reached an agreement with Harbor Industrial to become its long-term operator. Harbor Industrial had already been serving as an intermediary between the Port and the dock workers.
