Legacy Mount Hood nurses reach tentative agreement, averting strike

Over 400 registered nurses at Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center voted to authorize a strike last week, citing the need for better wages and working conditions.

GRESHAM, Ore. — Over 400 registered nurses at Legacy Mount Hood will vote on a tentative agreement after authorizing a strike last week. 

According to the Oregon Nurses Association (ONA), the tentative agreement heads to the 440 nurses for a ratification vote after a marathon mediation session.
