The Salem Police Department’s SWAT team is responding to a “barricaded subject situation” near Hayesville Road N.E. and Eva Court N.E., according to information released by Salem Police Department Lt. Jim Anglemier.
Officers responded about 7:30 p.m. to the area, and negotiators and the SWAT team are still on the scene.
The incident has closed Hayesville Road Northeast between Reimann Street N.E. and Happy Drive N.E., according to a press release.
