Troy Cordingley’s first game as coach of the Vancouver Warriors will be against one of his former teams.
The Warriors announced Tuesday that they’ll open up the 2022-23 National Lacrosse League regular season with a visit to the Toronto Rock and their FirstOntario Centre digs in Hamilton, Ont., on Saturday, Dec. 3.
Vancouver hired Cordingley to take over behind the bench in June and this is his fourth NLL coaching stop, including a 2010-13 run with the Rock that featured winning the league championship in 2011.
