Seattle-area carpenters return to picketing Monday, set to bargain this week

Picketing activities across Seattle by the Northwest Carpenters Union will resume Monday, following a temporary pause after some wildcat strikes that were not approved by the union.

According to the union’s website, both sides — AGC of Washington and the Northwest Carpenters Union — have agreed to go back to the bargaining table this week.

Meanwhile, some social media posts and emails are being sent about potential protests planned as tensions rise between workers and union leadership.
