Portland Restaurants and Carts Closing for the Snow

Whenever it snows in Portland, chaos ensues. Cars crash, kale disappears, and East Coast and Midwestern expats mock the desperate West Coasters terrified by frozen water. Restaurant and food cart owners are technically able to reopen for indoor dining Friday, but some are opting to close down altogether, concerned about the potentially treacherous roads and bleak food cart conditions — not to mention the probable lag in business. Below, find a list of restaurants, food carts, and bars that are choosing to wait out the winter storm, at least for a few days:

Jojo: closed at 3 p.m. Thursday
Kim Jong Grillin: Closed Thursday and Friday
