Supporters and opponents debate the measure heading to voters in November that would radically reshape Portland’s form of government.
PORTLAND, Ore. — Portlanders are less than six weeks away from deciding the fate of a proposal that would radically overhaul the city’s government structure, and supporters and opponents are gathering Thursday evening to debate the measure.
Sol Mora, Candace Avalos and Melanie Billings-Yun are attending in support of the proposed overhaul, while Vadim Mozyrsky and Portland city commissioner Mingus Mapps are there in opposition.
