PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Fire and Rescue said a 27-year-old man was working on a sewer line when he was buried in a trench collapse in
Southwest Portland Thursday morning.
PF&R tweeted that teams were in recovery mode, due to the length of time the worker was buried. They do not believe he survived.
The Technical Rescue Team responded to 8122 SW 54th Ave. at around 11:30 a.m.
The man’s name was not immediately released.
